Some iconic pieces of Hollywood history went up for sale over the weekend of March 31st- April 1st; in an auction by Beverley Hills based celebrity auction house Julien’s. Amongst the amazing items up for sale were Charlie Chaplin’s bamboo cane, which sold for $42,000, his bowler hat, which was snapped up for $58,000, a Christopher Reeve Superman costume from ‘Superman IV: The Quest for Peace’, and a complete Caped Crusader costume from ‘Batman Returns’ .

Batman Pulled Over By Police

Montgomery County Police officers on traffic patrol got a super-heroic surprise on March 21st in Silver Spring, Maryland when they pulled over a sleek black Lamborghini for not displaying the appropriate vehicle registration plates. Upon closer inspection, the plates bore an instantly recognisable black bat symbol and when the driver stepped out of his vehicle to converse with the officers, it was none other than the Caped Crusader himself! The enigmatic individual looked impressive in a Dark Knight-era muscle chest Batman suit and was pictured chatting earnestly to his fellow crime fighters. Fans of the dramality show The Only Way is Essex have been thrilled by pictures sneaked from the set of the series 4 finale which show TOWIE stars James ‘Arg’ Argent and James ‘Diags’ Bennewith in marvellous medieval costumes for what promises to be a spectacular costume party denouement.
