New sci-fi Gravity is a feat in engineering. The film – from Children Of Men director Alfonso Cuaron – was created almost entirely by integrating its stars, George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, into a seamless CGI environment. That includes the above shot.

It also included the actors’ costumes. Though they play astronauts who become lost in space when an assignment goes horribly wrong, the actors never wore full NASA spacesuits.
